The Dead Gamers Society is “Back from the Dead” on November 9th 2024, beginning at 10am in Medina. This is an early start time, with the hopes that we will have longer to play during the day. So show up early and get your full day’s worth of fun! We will have some sandwiches or something pre-made for lunch, while supplies last. Grilling the hot dogs always takes me away from the LAN setup for too long during a critical time in the event, so we are trying sandwiches for the early arrivers. Pizza dinner will also be ordered in the evening. Please bring a drink or snack to share with the group as well as $5 to put towards dinner.

It’s been a while since the last LAN, so we will celebrate being back from the dead with some Left 4 Dead 2. Check out Overcooked 2, which is another arcade style teamwork game. You can also count on our usual favorites such as Rocket League, Jedi Knight 2, Overwatch, etc. If you want to play it, we will play it! Discuss what you want to play in our Discord channel!

Come help Eclipse push the limits of the new gigabit fiber internet on April 29th! That’s right, Medina Fiber has finally made it to Medina, after being installed in several other cities first.

It’s been a little while, so here’s the plan: April 29 is a Saturday. You bring your computer setup over and have some grilled hot dogs for lunch. Maybe play a little ping pong during setup. We play a few staple games like Rocket League, Overwatch, etc and observe our awesome ping times and no lag. Catch up with old friends you haven’t seen in a while. Show off your new stuff and see some new games that might interest you.

We’ll decide on a game for the evening, have some pizza dinner and play until the caffeine wears off and we feel like total shit. It’s a tradition as old as time. Well… a tradition as old as Doom anyways.
